There was a fantastic turnout for our first Mitchell Arts Exhibition at Hampton Manor, hordes of guests came through the doors of the magical Birches barn set in the woodland grounds.
We had some truly breathtaking Art on display including two bespoke, miniature cityscapes and a joyful still-life by artist Darren Baker – The master of Hyper-Realsim. A variety of stunning, iconic portraits by Jinxy including a selection from his Peaky Blinder series was on show. Bold and angular figurative, bronze sculptures by Neil Wood contrasted with the tactile, sensuous bronzes by Philip Hearsey. Mary Stenning, Sally Larke, Nina Shilvock and Lindsay Jane Lloyd excelled themselves with vibrant new works. Peter Owen produced four new, atmospheric seascapes and Toni was showing two new oil-paintings in her ethereal Lake series, one barely dry!
Many of the artists came along to support us and it was great to see so many loyal customers and friends as well as meeting new art-lovers.
A huge Thank You to everyone for making it such a splendid day.
We look forward to our next exhibition in the Spring of 2019.
